What is this?

Eros, in its original Greek context, was the mystic force of attraction that enabled a person to recognise and appreciate beauty in their surroundings and, through self-awareness, to cultivate their own individual potential and express it in their relationships and interactions with others. In other words, Eros is experienced as a passionate force that motivates and drives an individual to cultivate self-understanding in order to develop meaningful interpersonal engagements with others. It is a basic constituent of human consciousness, enabling personal growth and transformation. Through Eros, an individual has the capacity to recognise beauty, to identify and celebrate one’s uniqueness, and to initiate and nurture relationships.
