What is this?

Connective tissue is composed of cells, fibers and a matrix that act as a support system within the body. It serves both structural and physiological functions, connecting and binding together different tissues and organs, forming a continuous "web" that supports, separates and determines the individual characteristics and structure of cells, organs and tissues. Connective tissue is not just a physical network, but also a conduit for consciousness and emotion, a living entanglement between thoughts, sensations and environment. As a vital part of our bodies and our experience of the world, connective tissue is an essential building block of holistic health.
