What is this?

Soulmaking is a concept that acknowledges the importance of transformation and growth in human life. It is a practice of intentionally engaging with the challenges of life in order to build resilience, develop our skills, clarify our deeper values and understandings, and come to fuller expressions of our being. The process of soulmaking is gradual and ongoing, as growth and learning expand our horizons and set us on new paths of exploration. As an intention, soulmaking speaks to the recognition of how our internal processes and embodied encounters interact and are necessary parts of the journey. Soulmaking is potentially the work of a lifetime, a deep exploration of the self and of what it means to be in a body and a world with others.
