What is this?

Nature is that set of laws, systems and patterns by which non-human living entities are bound and governed. It governs the ways in which all living things interact, the way they respond to their changing environment and the impact they have upon it. Nature is the force of all the relationships between living species and the environment that dictate their survival, flourishing and diversity. This interplay creates the perfect conditions for species to evolve, adapt and respond, and for the wider environment to remain in balanced equilibrium. The complexity of nature means that it can also create unpredictable and destabilising events; these serve to remind us of its power and potential, but also provide opportunities for new life to emerge.
