What is this?

Microsolidarity is the coming together of individuals to collectively and collaboratively address everyday problems that exist in our local and global communities. It is the practice of using the transformative power of collective action to create structural and social change. Microsolidarity seeks to build strong alliances through shared visioning and commitment to common values, principles and goals. Its focus is on small-scale, face-to-face interactions between individuals and communities, which can lead to trust and an increased sense of solidarity. This allows us to overcome social and ideological divides, develop greater understanding and find creative solutions to pressing issues.
