What is this?

Attention is the cognitive mastery of external input to make conscious and intentional preparations for action. It is a process of challenging, integrating and refining the information that we receive from our environment, and learning to harness it for meaningful goal-oriented application. It is a practice for making optimal use of available resources and target relevant opportunities, by actively controlling the flow of attention and selectively deciding the sources and qualities of information with which we interact. Attention is a superpower - a way in which we can climb mountains and reach new heights.
