What is this?

Transcontextual is an evolving field of thought that combines the ideas of systems and complexity theory with a more holistic view of human experience. It explores how patterns of behavior, knowledge and meaning emerge in society, and how these patterns develop and dissolve across increasingly larger and interconnected scales of experience. Transcontextual thinking encourages us to view contexts as nested, overlapping, and interconnected— each part of a larger, constantly changing whole. It suggests that there are deeper patterns and relationships that connect contexts and that if explored can add new insights into how we understand, learn, and move forward.
