What is this?

Ecology is the study and investigation of the relationships between living organisms, their environment, and their complexity and interdependence. It is also considered an interdisciplinary branch of science, as it considers biological, chemical, physical, and social variables to have an understanding of the complex processes and systems between organisms and their environment. Ecology involves understanding and exploring the patterns of variation and change in organisms and their interaction with the environment, as well as considering the implications of those dynamics and their application to the management of ecosystems and resources. It is the key to ensuring the sustainability of our planet and its species.
