What is this?

Sovereignty is the core fundamental principle of political self-determination and authority. By sovereignty, I mean the power of a state or other political unit to act independently and without external influence on matters under its own jurisdiction, while also respecting the autonomy and rights of any other states. It is the ability of a political unit to exercise supreme and independent authority without interference or external interference, to self-govern its internal affairs, and to handle its foreign affairs. This includes the right to choose international treaties and diplomatic relations, engage in warfare, control economic policy, and provide its citizens with fundamental rights and an independent legal system.
