Psychotechnology is a broad term used to refer to the various technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, biofeedback, and neurofeedback, that have emerged from the fields of psychology and neuroscience, and are used to remediate psychopathology or optimize psychological performance. Psychotechnology is best thought of as a bridge between cognitive science, applied psychology and technology, allowing for the development of powerful new tools for understanding and improving the human mind.
