What is this?

Antifragile refers to the ability of systems to not only withstand shocks, but also to become stronger and more resilient as a result of the disruption. It is a concept popularized by investor, entrepreneur and philosopher Nassim Taleb, who argues that under extreme strain, certain elements in society become dynamically improved rather than adversely affected. Antifragility has found application in economics, social sciences and even in the physical sciences, and explains how systems can adopt and assimilate failure to ultimately become more successful.
